Topanga always knew she wanted to work with horses from a young age. Growing up in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, she spent every moment she could barrel racing. She began her career at the Veterinary Technician Institute, and is most interested in lameness cases. She loves working with these amazing athletes and getting to watch the Standardbreds race. Topanga finds her work at BEH to be extremely rewarding.

Topanga

Tiffany is an Licensed Veterinary Technician, and Certified Equine Dentist. She was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, and has been apart of the Brown Equine Team since 2008. Growing up in a horse-loving family, and has been riding nearly her whole life. Tiff received her associates degree in Veterinary Technology, and is a member of the American Association of Equine Veterinary Technicians and AAEVT Anesthesia Society. Tiffany is also our equine dentist. She attended the American School of Equine Dentistry and had extensive apprenticeship under the supervision of Dr. Richard Miller, DMV, for dentistry.

She is currently certified through the International Association of Equine Dentistry. Tiffany can be found in our surgery suite, running anesthesia or performing dentals. BEH feels like home to Tiffany, and she loves everyone she works with. She says "Love the care and passion that we, as a team, put into each horse, We treat all our patients like they are our own, and you can be sure your horse is receiving the best care!"  Tiffany is a mom to five wonderful children. Outside of work, Tiffany spends time with her wonderful family, friends, dogs, and horses. Her hobbies include riding, hiking, and hunting.

Emily grew up around beef cattle in her hometown of Somerset, Pennsylvania. She took a leap and decided to work with horses, she spends a majority of her time taking care of in-patient horses. Her favorite aspect of working at BEH is watch the progress of the horse throughout their stay. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her two retired Standardbred horses and her Aussie.

Emily

Andrea grew up in Somerset, Pennsylvania and has worked for Brown Equine in varying capacities over the years. She assists with barn work, treatments, or wherever she is needed. In her free time, she enjoys caring for and showing her Quarter Horses.

Jenna was born and raised in Somerset, Pennsylvania and started working at Brown Equine Hospital as needed in conjunction with her full time job. Jenna enjoys working with and being around horses. In her free time, she spends her days with her husband, Brad, and two children. Jenna loves her two horses, and two dogs. 


Jenna

Kerri Beth lives on a farm in Meyersdale with her husband, two children and a menagerie of animals. She is currently in school with Penn Foster continuing her education. Kerri Beth is the coordinator for the Somerset County Animal Response Team specializing in technical large animal rescue. At Brown Equine, she works with the inpatient horses. This is the first job she has had where it never feels like she is going to work! The family friendly atmosphere of the staff coupled with her love of all horses makes for rewarding days.

Tara was born and raised in Somerset, PA. She grew up showing horses on the AQHA circuit and has been in the veterinary field for for 16 years, and a Certified Veterinary Technician for 12 years. She completed her degree in Veterinary Technology at St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, Florida. Her work interests are lameness exams and being able to work around horses in general.

Chris is found all around the clinic, keeping it up to our standards with maintenance and other projects. His favorite part of working at BEH is assisting the technicians and learning more on how to care for horses. Chris also enjoys driving the mules and draft horses for Dr. Brown.

Jennifer started working at Brown Equine Hospital in December 2018. She is a part of the day shift team and works in the the barns. You will see her assisting with afternoon treatments. She loves working with foals whether they are the patients or just tagging along with the mare!

Sara is from Smithton, Pennsylvania and has always loved horses. She enjoys spending time with her seven dogs, three horses, donkey and goat. Outside of spending most of her time with animals, Sara also rides ATVs.

Tina Stanley is our wonderful office manager at Brown Equine Hospital! She has been employed at Brown Equine Hospital since April 2012. She has 2 kids, Tiffany and Stephen. Tina loves dogs and has a 150lb Rottweiler named Rayder. Tina loves vacationing in Florida at Disney World and have visited over 10 times!
